"Skorpion Im Stiefel" is the debut album of the mod-jazz quartet Hamburg Spinners.

The Hamburg Spinners are Carsten "Erobique" Meyer (e.g. soundtrack to "Der Tatortreiniger") on Hammond B-3 organ, Dennis Rux (Rhonda, Trashmonkeys) on guitar, David Nesselhauff (Diaszpora) on bass and Lucas Kochbeck on drums. "Skorpion im Stiefel" was recorded live on a weekend in May 2020 in the Yeah!Yeah!Yeah! studios in Hamburg to capture the band sound 1:1, only some shouts and background noises were added afterwards. The nine songs offer a swinging mix of soul, R&B and mod jazz.
